JUIT Legal API
JUIT's Legal API lets you integrate Brazil's largest legal databases available via API directly into your product, without maintaining crawlers, data collection infrastructure, or dedicated legal data teams.
Whether you're powering a legal AI, building a precedent search engine, monitoring cases, or enriching a legal tech product, JUIT delivers data ready for use.
What the API offers
Jurisprudence
More than 70 million decisions from 92 courts, updated daily. Complete decision content (headnotes, full text, opinions), not just case metadata and docket movements.
- Integration Guide · authentication, search operators, filters, and pagination
- API Documentation · complete technical reference with parameters and schemas
- Recipes · ready-to-use examples of how to use the API
Case Search BETA
More than 285 million cases from 93 courts across all levels and areas of Brazil's justice system. Search cases by CNJ number, CPF/CNPJ, OAB, court, class, and dozens of other filters. Consult parties, movements, and proceedings for each case, and download documents (petitions, decisions, judgments) in their original format.
Authentication and the credit model follow the same pattern as the Jurisprudence endpoints.
- Integration Guide · authentication, filters, and response examples
- API Documentation · complete technical reference
- Recipes · ready-to-use examples of how to use the API
Why JUIT
Generative AIs can hallucinate when citing jurisprudence. Many legal GPTs operate on limited databases or rely on web searches, which can result in inaccurate or outdated information. The JUIT API solves this problem by providing a reliable layer of real legal data, collected directly from official court sources. This same data layer also powers the JUIT Legal GPT, available to API and JUIT Rimor clients.
Access
API access requires contacting JUIT's sales team. Once approved, you receive access to the Developer Portal with API keys, consumption monitoring, and technical documentation.
